9. REMOTE ACCESS
** The following instructions are only a reference guide. Check with your Internet Service
Provider (ISP) how to open ports and configure the modem.
* Consult a technician in case of not knowing how to connect a DVR to the Internet.
1. Connect the DVR to a LAN port of the modem via a network cable.
2. Select a mode to assign the IP address to the DVR. Enter to Menu > Setup > Network.
LAN:
These same ports must be opened on the modem to monitor the DVR from locally and
remotely.
PPPoE:
- Select the "Enable" checkbox.
- Enter the username and password provided by your Internet company.
- Press "Ok" to save your changes.

-Ethernet IP address, subnet mask and gateway.
Remember: these parameters must be within the
modem's range.
-If you select the "DHCP" box, the modem will
automatically assign the address and ranges in IP, Net
Mask and Gateway fields.
-It is recommended to leave the factory settings in the
HTTP port field (which establishes communication with
the modem) and Dev and Mobile ports; However, you
can assign them a special range.
