Intended use
The charging cable is intended for charging electric and
hybrid vehicles at suited infrastructure. Another use than
indicated is not allowed. The charging cable will only be
secure, when adhering to these operating instructions.
Please read these operating instructions before using the
charging cable and follow the instructions.
Apart from these operating instructions, please also follow
the documentation in your electric vehicle.
Non-compliance with these operating instructions can lead
to damage to the charging cable. Furthermore, this involves
dangers such as electric shock, short circuit or fire.
Non‑intended use
The non-intended use increases the risk of damage to prop-
erty and health damage.
Please absolutely avoid the following points:
„ Modification / manipulation of the charging cable.
„ Connecting charging cable to unsuitable plug devices.
„ Use of a defective charging cable.
The operator, not the manufacturer, is responsible for all
personal and material damage which result from non-
intended use. Please note that operating and / or connect-
ing faults are outside our area of influence. The MENNEKES
Stecker GmbH & Co. KG does not take over any liability for
damages resulting from non-intended use.
Important safety instructions
„ Children must not use the charging cable!
„ Keep animals away from the charging cable.
„ Only connect the charging cable to the intended plug
devices.
„ Do not use adapter plugs or extension cables.
„ Do not use the charging cable in explosive environment
with flammable liquids, gases or dusts – explosion and
fire hazard!

Avoid the situations shown there. If you fail
to observe these notes, there will be the
danger of material and personal damage.

ATTENTION
Material damage due to condensation water with
closed ventilation
The opening for ventilation is located at the bottom side
(see following image).
f Always keep the opening open and clean.
f Do not close or paste over the opening.
f Do not pierce with objects into the holes.

f Please observe the data plate on the housing.

WARNING
Damaged charging cable – danger to life due to elec‑
trical shock.
A damaged charging cable can lead to death or severe
injuries.
f Check the charging cable before each use for damages
(e.g. cracks). Exchange a damaged charging cable for a
new one.
f Do not use any adapter plugs or extensions in
connection with the charging cable.
