Replacing the rubber cup on the suction plate
(suction plate D215 only)
 Replace the rubber cup immediately if dam-
aged:
Remove the screws [9-2].

Remove the rubber cup.

Place a new rubber cup in position.

Secure the new rubber cup using the screws [9-

2].

Replace the vacuum hose
Remove the clip [10-1] using a screwdriver, for

example.
Pull off the vacuum hose. Slide the clip accom-

panying the new hose over the hose. Slide the
new hose all the way onto the nipple. Make sure
that the distance between the end of the hose
and the hose clip is at least 3/16 in (5 mm).Turn
the screw [10-2] on the clip firmly to secure the
hose to the nipple.
