Operating the machine

6.1 Normal operation

► Align the machine as described in section 5.
► Before each activation, make sure that the fol-
lowing conditions are met:
– The machine has no visible damage.
– The mains connection cable is in fault-free
condition.
– The required operating pressure of 5.5 bar
is present.
– The front plate is closed.
► Switch on the mains switch.
The valves audibly start up and a reference run is execut-
ed. The selection menu is displayed on the touch display.

6.2 Selecting a cross section

► To select a cross section, tap on the relevant field.
The selected cross section is displayed in inverted fashion.
You can start working now. The selection menu is dis-
played during operation. You can change the cross section
any time.
► To switch to the operating menu, press .
► To reset the day's piece quantity, hold down C for at
least 5 seconds.

6.3 Inserting the wire

Only process wires that are cut cleanly. All
stranded wires must finish with the insulation, no
stranded wire may be shortened or protrude.
Ensure that the end of the wire is inserted even-
ly.

► Insert a wire into the insertion funnel.
The material is drawn in slightly and processed automati-
cally. Valve noises are audible during this process.
► Once the processing is complete (no more noises), pull
the processed wire out.

6.4 Operating menus

If the operating menus are displayed on the display, only
the bottom four fields are touch-sensitive. With these you
can navigate through the program.

► To select an operating menu, press the arrow keys.
► To switch to the selected menu, press E.
