Cleaning and maintenance

DANGER! ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect
the power plug from the mains power socket!
There is a risk of electric shock!
Never immerse the base 5 in water or
any other liquids!
We recommend cleaning the appliance directly
after use . This makes food residues easier to
remove .
CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning
materials . These can damage the surface of
the appliance!
Wipe the base 5 with a moist cloth . For
stubborn soiling use a mild detergent on the
cloth . Wipe off any detergent residue using a
cloth moistened with clean water .
Clean the lids 2, the blender jugs 1, and the
blade holder 4 with blade 3 in warm water
with a little mild detergent . Afterwards, rinse
all parts with clean water so that no detergent
residues remain .
NOTE
You can also clean the lids 2, the
blender jugs 1 and the blade holder 4
with blade 3 in your dishwasher .
If possible, place the parts in the upper basket
and ensure that they cannot get stuck .
Otherwise, they could become warped .

NOTE
If you clean the appliance directly after use, you
can usually achieve sufficiently hygienic cleaning
results for the blender jug 1 and the blade hold-
er 4 by using the following alternatives:
Fill the blender jug 1 with about 500 ml of
water and add a few drops of mild detergent .
Attach the blade holder 4 and screw both
onto the base 5 .
Activate the Pulse function a few times so that
the blade 3 churns through the water .
Afterwards, rinse the blender jug 1 and the
blade holder 4 with plenty of clear water so
that all detergent residues are removed .
After cleaning, dry all parts thoroughly .

Storage

Wind the mains cable around the cable retainer
7 on the underside of the base 5 . Feed the
cable end through the recess at the edge .
Store the cleaned appliance in a clean, dust-free
and dry location .
