Shopping Cart Assembly

Unpacking the Product

• Remove everything from the box – shopping cart, front wheels, rear wheels, large mesh basket
with large mesh basket cover inside the pocket, parent organizer and documents (not shown).
• Discard all packaging materials properly, including plastic coverings.
• DO NOT allow children to play with any packaging materials.
Unfolding the Shopping Cart
• Orient the shopping cart with the handle on the top.
• Release the safety latch located on the right side of the shopping cart by pushing it off of the post. (1)
• Stand behind the handle end of the product. Grasp the handle with both hands and pull it upward. (2)
• Keep pulling the handle upward until the the locking mechanism has fully engaged.
• Gently push downward on the handle to ensure that the shopping cart is completely opened and
locked.
• IMPORTANT: Locate the locking pins that are in the small mesh pockets on both sides of the
product on the inside of the lower basket. (3)
• Remove one locking pin from its pocket and insert the pin into the small hole in the hinge bracket
of the frame bar on the side of the cart. (4) Push it all the way through the hole so that it comes
out the other end.
• Rotate the locking mechanism around the hinge bracket and push it over the end of the pin that is
on the other side of this bracket so that it snaps into place. (5)
• Repeat this process for the other side of the cart.
I WARNING:
when unfolding the shopping cart. ALWAYS Keep children
away from shopping cart while unfolding. ALWAYS ensure
the locking mechanism is fully engaged when the shopping
cart is in the opened position. Locking pins must ALWAYS be
used when operating this product.
Installing/Removing the Front Wheels
• Slide one front wheel into the front wheel housing until it clicks into place. (6) Repeat for the other
wheel. Pull on the wheels to ensure they are installed properly.
• To remove, press the metal release button on the back of the front wheel housing and pull wheel
away from the shopping cart. (7)
Installing/Removing the Rear Wheels
• Install one rear wheel by sliding the axle into the hole in the wheel hub until it clicks into place. (8)
Repeat for the other wheel. Pull on the wheels to ensure they are installed properly.
• To remove, push the release button on the rear wheel hub and pull the wheel away from the
shopping cart. (9)
Installing the Large Mesh Basket
The maximum weight that can be carried in the large mesh basket is 50 lbs. (23 kg).
• To install the large mesh basket, first make sure that the front flap of the lower base is in its upright
position and is secured by the elastic bands. (10)
• Orient the large mesh basket so that the rotating front carrier is toward the front of the cart.
• Hold both sides of the basket by the plastic locking brackets and lower the basket so that the
plastic locking brackets are aligned with the slots on the cart frame. (11)
