z About the IR receiver
This DVD Remote Control is intended for use with PlayStation 2 consoles with a

built-in IR receiver. For such consoles, the IR receiver is located on the console
front, between the 1 (standby)/RESET button and the A (open) button.
When using the DVD Remote Control, point the IR transmitter end of the DVD
Remote Control at the IR receiver of the console.
