Voice calls
To place voice calls, this function must be supported by the type of mobile phone you are
using.
Always refer to the operating manual for your mobile phone for instructions how to
store voice tags.
The voice call mode is activated diff erently depending on the type of product used. Refer
to the summary table.
Access to voice call mode is signalled diff erently depending on the type of mobile phone

Once you have pronounced the voice tag for the number to call, it is repeated (provided it
has been identifi ed correctly) and the call is then placed. If not, you will get the recognition
failure signal, which depends on the type of mobile phone you are using.
However, use of the mobile phone's keypad is always a preferable method for placing cal-
ls.
Taking a call/Ending a call
Incoming calls are signalled by the system's standard ring tone. However, depending on
the type of phone used and its status (for example: vibracall mode), the ring tone heard
might not be the standard one but the default setting for that mobile phone.
Press the CALL key briefl y to start the conversation.
Press CALL key briefl y to end the call.
Rejecting a call
The incoming call can be rejected by briefl y pressing the CALL key twice.
Last number redial
Recall by briefl y pressing the CALL key twice.
Privacy mode
During a call, press and hold the button down to disable the hands free set and the call will
be transferred to the telephone. You can return to hands free mode by holding the button
down again. Refer to the summary table.
Adjusting the sound level
If necessary, during a phone call, it is possible to adjust the listening volume by pressing
the Volume + and - keys located on the TouchPad or on the steering wheel spoke controls.
The system will increase or decrease the volume each time you press one of these.
Calling numbers without a voice tag
If you need to call a number that has no voice tag stored, you can use your mobile phone's
keypad to place the call. The call will then be automatically transferred to the hands free
set so you can continue your conversation in total safety.
