7. Working life

7.5 Installation

The following fixing options are available for installing the drive unit:
•
Rod form (S)
3 x 4 M5 fixing borings respectively in the flange plate for matching to different motor adap-
ters. Four fixing borings are used for fixing with the relevant motor adapter. The recom-
mended bolt depth is a maximum of 8 mm and the recommended torque 6 Nm.
•
Parallel form (S)
3 x 4 M5 fixing borings respectively in the flange plate for matching to different motor adap-
ters. Four fixing borings are used for fixing with the relevant motor adapter. The recom-
mended bolt depth is a maximum of 8 mm and the recommended torque 6 Nm.
Check the drive unit for any damage after receiving the appliance. When using/installing a motor
adapter, only the screws supplied with the appliance are to be used.
