from e.g. cutting, grazing and high tempe-
rature. Wear suitable gloves to protect your
hands.
•
Hold the machine correctly: Be prepared to
cope with expected or sudden movements —
keep both hands ready.
•
If there is a power failure, release the com-
mand device for starting and stopping.
There is a risk of electrostatic discharge when
the machine is used on plastic and other non-
conductive materials.
•
A potentially explosive atmosphere can arise
from the dust and vapors caused by grinding
and sanding. A suitable dust extraction sys-
tem must be used where necessary.
•
Disconnect the grinding/sanding machine
from the power supply before replacing the
mounted tool or accessory parts.
•
During and after use, avoid contact with the
mounted tool because it may have become
hot or sharp.
•
Only grinding/sanding attachments recom-
mended by the manufacturer are allowed to
be used.
•
It is imperative to observe the accident pre-
vention regulations in force in your area as
well as all other generally recognized rules of
safety.
•
Take suitable precautions to reduce the resi-
dual risks, e.g. injury to the user due to noise,
vibrations, dust, etc. This can mean for ex-
ample: Wear ear plugs and safety equipment,
use a vacuum dust extractor.
