1 Safety-Related Guidelines for REFUsol

1.1 Proper usage

The REFUsol
transforms the direct current generated by the PV generator (photovoltaic modules) into alternating
current and feeds this to the public power supply network. The inverter has been constructed
according to the current state of technology and in line with the rules of technical safety. Any use
beyond this is not deemed to be proper. The manufacture will not accept liability for any damages
resulting from this and the user alone will bear all responsibility.

To prevent personal injury and/or material damage, read the following notes before first putting the
system into operation. The safety-related guidelines must be observed at all times.

The operating instructions are intended for the following persons:

Electricians who commission the device themselves and connect it to other units of the PV
system.

Service and maintenance technicians who install device expansions or carry out error analyses.
This documentation is intended for skilled specialist personnel. It is assumed that the basic
technical requirements of PV systems are known.

The device may only be installed by qualified specialists.
