• Store the battery pack so that it is out of the reach of
children.
• The battery pack can be used by children over the age of eight
and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
abilities or lack of experience and knowledge when they are
supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of the
battery pack and when they understand the resulting hazards.
• Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by
children without supervision.
• Keep the battery pack and its accessories away from children
under eight years old.
• The battery pack includes small parts which could be
swallowed, and also plastic packaging fi lm. Keep these parts
out of the reach of children to avoid the danger of swallowing
and choking or suffocation.

Leaked battery fl uid can cause injuries in case of contact with
the skin or other parts of the body.
• Prevent the battery fl uid from coming into contact with the
skin, eyes and mucous membranes.
• If you have come into contact with battery fl uid, rinse the
affected areas immediately with copious amounts of clear
water and consult a doctor urgently.

Improper handling of the battery pack can lead to damage of
the battery pack.
• Do not insert any foreign objects into the plug interfaces on
the battery pack.
• Protect the battery pack from mechanical impacts.
• Place the battery pack on a surface which is not sensitive to
heat when using or charging it.
• Only use the battery pack with its original accessories.
• Observe the safety instructions for the devices which you
connect to the battery pack.
• Obtain information from the manufacturer of the device you
wish to charge as to the current consumption with which it
is compatible. The current consumption must not exceed
the current specifi cation of the battery pack (max. 19 V /
3,500 mA).
• If you do not use the battery pack for an extended period,
charge the battery pack at regular intervals (approx. every
three months) so that it does not deep discharge.
• Never use the battery pack directly after taking it from a
cold environment into a warm environment. The resulting
condensation may damage the battery pack. Allow the battery
pack to warm up to room temperature before you use it.
5 | Initial start-up
5.1 | Checking the battery pack and the scope of delivery
1. Remove the battery pack from the packaging.
2. Check that the delivery is complete (see Fig. 1).
3. Check whether the battery pack or the individual parts shows signs of
any damage. If this is the case, do not use the battery pack. Contact the
manufacturer at the specified service address.
5.2 | Charging the battery pack
The battery pack is supplied partially charged and has to be charged for up to
6 hours so that all the LEDs of the charge level indicator 8 light up constantly
before initial start-up. The battery pack should be charged completely after each
use. It does not reach its maximum capacity until it has been discharged/charged
3 times.
You can charge the battery pack in three different ways (see Fig. 2):
