USE AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL

A1 GENERALITY

A1.1 PuliFIL scope and not recommended uses
PuliFIL is a protecting semi-automatic self-cleaning filter equipped with a filtering net with a standard filtration rating of
89 micron designed to filter drinking water. PuliFIL protects the hydraulic distribution system and the piping from
damage caused by small amount of impurities such as pebbles, rust scales and other kind of oxides, metal trimmings
with a maximum size of 2 mm.
Warning! PuliFIL is not suitable for filtration of water containing:
- big amount of sand
- coarse bodies greater than 2 mm
- silt
- chemicals (oils, solvents, acids, bases, glycols)
PuliFIL must not be used to filter closed loop water.
To filter process water and/or for applications other than those described it is necessary to consult with an Acqua
Brevetti Srl expert.
