WARNING!
Do not pull out the suction hose from the cleaner
while the motor/fan unit of the cleaner is running.
These machines have a safety shut off function.
This shut off function will be activated when the ma-
chine is operated with a closed vacuum socket.
NOTE! BEFORE THE FIRST OPERATION
An antenna is enclosed with the RRC machine. But in needs
to be fi xed at the central vacuum cleaner. It is fi xed simply by
tighten the antenna at the matching spiral socket in the lid. See
the illustrations below:

The first transmission
The hose handle and the cleaner needs to have a
fi rst communication before starting the cleaner. This
is also valid if the hose handle have been replaced
(spare part). Do like this before starting your RRC-
cleaner:
1)
Unplug the main cord.
2) Then plug in the cord again, and at the same time
push at the on/off button at the hose handle for
10 seconds.
3) The handle and the cleaner do now communicate.
INSTRUCTION FOR USE
The on-off function and power regulaton is controlled by radio
technology. You do not have to point at the machine like infra-red
controls. The RRC bent end can be used anywhere in the house.
Start and stop
Start: One push at the switch=will start the cleaner.
Stop: One push at the switch with in 30 minutes from start - will
shut off the cleaner.
The power regulation can be adjusted in 3 steps, Min., medium
and max you switch between the different steps by pressing
the (+) or (-) buttons at the hose handle. After 30 minutes of
permanent operation, the machine will shut itself off. This as a
safety action if the cleaner have started unintentionally. Another
safety action is that the battery power in the hose handle will be
shot down if some of the buttons at handle will be pushed down
for more then 8 seconds. This in order to prevent the battery
from being discharged.
LED-indicator
The LED-indicator that are placed at the on/off button will be
activated with different lights depending of the actions that are
taken:
Green fi xed light= activated at start or stop actions or when
the power regulation are adjusted.
Yellow fl ashing light= warning light that indicates that
the bag fi lter/dustbag are clogged and needs cleaning/
replacement.
You must then check and clean or replace the fi lter/bag. Then
push at the reset button at the display of the cleaner, for at least
3 seconds in order to switch off the yellow warning light at the
hose handle/display
Battery
The lifetime of the enclosed batteries in the bent end, is
approximately fi ve (5) years. If the battery capacity at operation
start is to low, the cleaner will then be shut off. If the cleaner
would not start or the power regulation via the hose handle
do not work, you must replace the battery at the hose handle.
Replace to new battery type 3V CR2. For more information and
trouble shooting see chapter 10 in this instruction for use.
How to replace battery at the hose handle
1) Use a small fl at screwdriver and place it
between the hose handle and the recess
at the keypad. Then gently bend with the
screwdriver so that the pad loosen from
the hose handle.
2) Lift up the keypad from the hose
handle.
The battery is placed in a bracket at
the underside of the keypad. Loosen
the battery from its bracket by using
hand power.
Replace the used battery with a new
one, type 3V CR2.
Make sure the polarity of the battery
are placed correct at the bracket.
3) Reassemble the keypad with the
new battery to the hose handle by
gently pushing the pad into the
handle.Then push the keypad
downwards to that it snaps in
place at the hose handle.
