3. Now perform the second scan.
We recommend the following acquisition parameters when working
with NobelGuide:
Template scan:
GALILEOS Compact: VO4 HC, 42mAs
GALILEOS Comfort: VO1 HC, 42mAs
GALILEOS Comfort PLUS: VOG (volume program for template scan)
Orthophos XG 3D: VOL1, 8x8, anterior tooth region, patient icon 1,
not collimated, HDoff
Orthophos SL: VOL1, 8x8, anterior tooth region, patient icon 1, not
collimated, HDoff
4. GALILEOS and Orthophos XG3D with SIDEXIS XG: Export both data
sets for NobelGuide using the SIDEXIS XG function Image > Export
> Volumes for third-party manufacturers and the Nobel profile.
Orthophos SL, GALILEOS and Orthophos XG3D with Sidexis 4:
Export both data sets for NobelGuide with Sidexis 4, see user
manual, Export exposure section.
Both scans are now in DICOM format for further processing in the
NobelGuide software from Biocare.
IMPORTANT
The holder can and should also be used when you wish to take
exposures of similar objects (e.g. bone structures).
