MAINTENANCE, CLEANING AND CARE
Please always unplug the power plug and let the device
completely cool down before you clean and store it!
WARNING
Make sure that no liquids get into the device interior. Nev-
er submerge the device in water. Electrical shock hazard!
WARNING
Never use aggressive or abrasive detergents or sharp
objects.
NOTICE
• Empty the water tank (5) after every use and rinse it periodically with
clear water.
• Use a dry or moderately damp, well wrung cloth to clean the external
housing of the device and the external surface of the water tank (5).
• Make sure to subsequently wipe the device dry.
Depending on the lime content of the water, the steam may, after a certain
period of use, not properly emit from the device and lime residue may need
to be removed from the steam outlet of the basic unit (6). In this case pro-
ceed as follows:
• Remove the cleaning head (8) from the basic unit (6) by unscrewing the
short screw that fastens the cleaning head to the basic unit and remove
the basic unit (6) in an upward motion from the cleaning head (8).
• The steam outlet is now accessible on the bottom of the basic unit (6).
• Take the supplied cleaning pin (12) and insert the narrow side
into the steam outlet opening. Carefully move the cleaning pin
(12) back and forth to remove any existing lime residue.
• The steam outlet is now no longer blocked. Reinstall the cleaning head
(8) as described in "Assembly".
