When pressing an action button assigned with TURBO function will simulate the button
being pressed constantly (e.g. boost firepower, kicks/hits, etc., depending on the software
that you use).
• ACTIVATE TURBO MODE: First, press and maintain pressed the TURBO button, and with

this button still pressed, press one or several of the 8 action buttons mentioned above to
activate this function on them. Now you can release the TURBO button.
• DEACTIVATE TURBO MODE: Press and maintain pressed the TURBO button, and then
press the buttons with the TURBO function already assigned in order to deactivate it from
these buttons. Now you can release the TURBO button.
Important: The TURBO function is automatically deactivated in all buttons when the controller
is powered o or the battery pack life has been exhausted completely.
6. "SWITCH PRO SHOOTER" FUNCTION (SWAP FUNCTION BUTTONS L1/L2 and R1/R2)
This function allows BlackFire® to swap controls of the functions assigned to the L1 and R1
buttons for those assigned to the L2 and R2 buttons (triggers progressive) even during the
game.
6.1. To make the swap of roles between these buttons, follow these steps:
• Turn on the PS3™ and then the BlackFire® controller.
• Once the console has assigned a number of the player for the controller, press the SELECT
AND SQUARE buttons simultaneously for a few seconds and when the player LEDs start
flashing, release the buttons.
• After a few moments the controller's LEDs will stop flashing and one of them will remain lit
to indicate the number of players.
• From now on the R2 button (trigger progressive) will function as R1 button when pressed
and the L2 button (trigger progressive) will function as the L1 button and vice versa.
6.1. To return the Blackfire® controller to its original configuration R1, R2, L1 and L2 then
please follow these steps:
• Press and hold the SELECT AND SQUARE buttons until the player LEDs blink.
• After a few moments the player indicator LED remains lit, indicating that the process is
over.
Please, keep in mind that if you swap functions between R1, R2, L1 and L2 the changes will
remain even if you power off the controller. If you want to return the Blackfire® controller to
its original configuration then please follow above steps.
7. AUTOMATIC POWER OFF & SLEEP FUNCTION
If you do not use the controller for about 5 minutes it will go into Sleep mode to save energy.
In order to activate the controller press HOME and you will be able to use it again.
When the power energy level from the batteries is low, one of the LED indicators from the
player number will flash slowly indicating that you must change the batteries (check section
4 from this manual: "Batteries Installation").
8. CONTROLLER UPDATE* FUNCTION
After an update of the PS3™ firmware, please, follow the instructions of section 3 of this
manual: "Controller connection and setup".
If you update the firmware from your PS3™ system and you see that the controller stopped
