Rechargeable Stick Vac/Hand Vac
• Remove the hand-held vacuum cleaner from the frame of the upright
vacuum cleaner as described above.
• If you wish to use the longer suction nozzle (9), pull it forward out of the
unit until you hear and feel it click into place and it is locked in position.
• To shorten the suction nozzle (9) again, that is, to push it back into place,
press the lock (10) on the underside (see lower figure) and then slide the
suction nozzle (9) back into the original position.
• Press the On/Off switch (3) forward. The unit will begin to vacuum.
• To switch the unit off again, slide the On/Off switch (3) back into its initial
position.
The appliance must be switched off after each use as well as
prior to attaching or removing accessories. Let the appliance

cool to room temperature before cleaning and/or storing it.
• Switch the unit off by sliding the On/Off switch (3) back into its initial
position.
• Secure the hand-held vacuum cleaner in the frame of the upright vacuum
cleaner once again by first inserting the tip into the opening intended for
this purpose (the suction nozzle (9) must be pushed inward); then press
the top side of the hand-held vacuum cleaner until you hear and feel it
click into place.
