2. Use
2.1. Before the first use
Wipe the unit body with a soft, dry cloth and wash the blades with hot water and washing up
liquid.
Rinse with clean water and dry carefully with a soft cloth.
2.2. Tips for using the appliance
The total quantity of ingredients and liquid must not go above the maximum limit (cold
soup1.5 L, hot soup 1.2 L). Any spillages may result in burns.
Ensure all ingredients are peeled, sliced or cubed (2-3cm)
If you are unsure of quantities, use the measuring plastic jug provided as a guide.
Always stir your ingredients before adding the lid, this prevents ingredients sticking to the
bottom of your soup maker.
Always remove the soup when the cycle is finished because the blender will still be hot and
may burn your soup.
If the control panel does not light up or if the blender does not start after it is switched on,
check that the bowl and/or cover (the tab on the cover must be aligned with the handle of
the blender) are properly positioned. Remove the blender or lid and position them correctly.
Do not heat/blend with the appliance empty.
Do not insert any utensils in the blender through the hole of the measuring cap.
Some operations cannot be performed properly with this blender: béchamel sauce,
mayonnaise.
The appliance may be stopped during the cooking process by pressing the On/Off button
2.3. Using the appliance
This device is recommended for the following: creamy soup, blended soup, steamed
vegetables/meat/fish, smoothies, milkshakes, vegetable or fruit coulis, purées, fruit
cocktails, crushed ice.
Ensure the soup maker is not connected to the power outlet
Place the bowl (3) on the motor unit (1) (the blender does not work if the bowl is not
properly fitted).
Chop all the ingredients into 2-3 cm chunks and place them in the bowl (3)
Finally, add the liquid using the graduated measuring cap (5) up to 0.8-1.5 L
(Reminder: maximum of 1.2 L for warm soup).
IN ORDER TO FUNCTION PROPERLY AND PREVENT ANY SPLASHING, NEVER GO
ABOVE 1.5 L OR BELOW 0.8 L OF LIQUID.
