direct Coupling using the SC-5000 Clamp

1. Plug the SC-5000 clamp into the T-5000 transmitter connection socket
2. Place the clamp around the pipe or cable
3. Switch the T-5000 transmitter on
4. Set the T-5000 transmitter to the desired signal transmission
5. Switch the R-5000 Receiver on
6. Set the R-5000 Receiver to the desired signal reception
7. Begin to trace the cable from the point of application about 15m away

Inductive Coupling

1. Position the T-5000 transmitter above the presumed cable
2. Switch the T-5000 transmitter on
3. Set the T-5000 transmitter to the desired signal transmission mode
4. Switch the R-5000 receiver on
5. Set the R-5000 receiver to the desired signal reception mode
6. Begin to trace the line from the transmitter at least 15m away.
