6. Compact Disc guidelines
a. handling
• Avoid fingerprints, oil or dust on the surface of the disc. Wipe dirty discs clean with a soft dry
cloth.
• Do not use benzene, thinner, water, record spray... to clean discs.
• Always handle discs carefully to prevent damaging the surface, in particular when removing a
disc from its case or returning it.
• Do not bend the disc.
• Do not apply heat.
• Do not enlarge the whole in the disc.
• Do not write on the tag (printed) with a hard-tipped implement such as a ball point.
• Condensation will form if a disc is brought from a cold area into a warmer one, such as outdoors
in winter. Do not attempt to dry the disc with a hair dryer.

• After playing a disc, always unload it from the player.
• Always store the disc in its case protect from dirt or damage.
• Do not place discs in areas with direct sunlight, areas subject to accumulation of dust or high
humidity or areas affected by heat from indoor heaters.

7. Cleaning and maintenance

• All screws should be tightened and free of corrosion.
• The housing, visible parts, mounting supports and the installation location (e.g. ceiling,
suspension, trussing) should not be deformed, modified or tampered with e.g. do not drill extra
holes in mounting supports, do not change the location of the connections,
• Moving mechanic parts must not show any signs of wear and tear.
• The electric power supply cables must not show any damage. Have a qualified technician maintain
the device.
• Disconnect the device from the mains prior to maintenance activities.
• Wipe the device regularly with a moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
• There are no user-serviceable parts.
• Contact your dealer for spare parts if necessary.
