SAFETY
WARNING: This device may
be used by children who
are at least 8 years old, by people
with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capacities or those without
knowledge or experience, if they
are properly supervised and if the
instructions relating to using the
device completely safely have been
given to them and the associated
risks have been understood.
Children must not play with the
device. Cleaning and maintenance
undertaken by the user must not
be carried out by unsupervised
children.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS:
Only carry out the electrical
connection once the installation
is complete.
The electrical installation must
be done by a qualified electrical
engineer. The device must be
placed so that the power supply
socket is accessible.
Devices without plugs must be
connected to a main switch on the
power supply which disconnects all
poles (contact separation distance
of at least 3 mm).
The device's power supply
must be connected to ground
(class I) and protected by a
high sensitivity differential
circuit breaker (30 mA).
The connection must be used
exclusively to provide the power
to the product. If the power cord
is damaged, to prevent possible
danger, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, customer service
team or a similarly qualified
individual.
REGULATION:
Be sure to
comply with the provisions
of the standard in force in the
country of use (France: NF C 15-
100) concerning the protection
volumes in a bathroom.

APPLICATIONS
This unit is a compact pumping station designed to
evacuate wastewater from a horizontally vented toilet,
basin*, shower*, bidet*. (*:depending on the model).
This device meets the EN 12050-3 standard
and European standards on electrical safety and
electromagnetic compatibility.

INSTALLATION
The shredder must be in the same room as the toilet
and any other sanitary facilities that may be connected.
The device must be easily accessible for checks and
maintenance.
The installation and operation of your device must
comply with local regulations and EN 12056-4.
In order to optimise the latest technical developments
in acoustics included with this device, it is important to:
• install the tank ensuring that it does not touch a wall
of the room,

POSSIBLE MAINTENANCE WORK
DISCONNECT THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET
FAULT
• The motor doesn't start
• The motor runs with a rattling
noise or buzzes and does not run
• The device works intermittently
• Motor runs correctly but does
not stop or runs for a long time
• The device stops
• The engine runs and the water
slowly falls into the bowl
• Cloudy water coming back into
the shower (devices with side
inlets)
• Odours come from the U-bend of the
hand washer
• The water of the hand washer
does not drain automatically

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

The device is guaranteed for two years from the date of purchase subject to installation, use and
maintenance in accordance with this manual. Only the evacuation of toilet paper, faeces and sanitary
water are covered by this warranty. Any damage caused to the appliance by the shredding of foreign
bodies such as cotton, tampons, sanitary pads, wipes, foodstuffs, condoms, hair, objects made of
metal, wood or plastic, or the pumping of liquids such as solvents, oils or acids are not covered by the
warranty.

• position the tank on a perfectly level floor so that the
anti-vibration pads can work effectively,
• fix the outlet piping correctly avoiding any distances
between attachments in excess of one metre.

ACTIVATION
Operate the flush several times. The toilet bowl outlet
must be free of leaks Check that the connections with
the sanitary devices do not leak: WC, shower*, bidet*,
basin*. (*: depending on the model).

MAINTENANCE
WARNING!!!
In case of prolonged absence, it is imperative to cut off
the general water supply and to protect the installation
against frost.
CLEANING/DESCALING
To descale and clean the shredder and bowl, use the
special SFA SANIBROYEUR descaler regularly, which is
designed to remove scale while respecting the internal
parts of your device.
PROBABLE CAUSES
• Device not connected
• Defective power supply
• Problem with a motor or control
system
• Motor blocked by a foreign body
• Problem with a motor or control
system
• The connected sanitary devices
leak
• The non-return valve leaks
• The evacuation height or length
is too great (loss of load)
• Hydraulic problem, clogging
• The device has been running
for too long (overheating safety
cut-off)
• The vent on the lid is clogged
• Motor problem
• Shower installed too low in
relation to the shredder
• Side inlet flaps clogged
• The U-bend of the hand washer is
empty
• Clogged hand washer U-bend
• Problem with the automatic
control system
ACTION TO BE TAKEN
• Connect the device
• Check the power supply
• Consult an approved engineer
• Remove the foreign body
• Otherwise consult an approved
engineer
• Check the upstream installation
• Clean or replace the anti-return
valve
• Go over the installation again
• Otherwise consult an approved
engineer
• Wait for it to restart.
• Call an authorised service
technician if necessary
• Unclog the vent hole
• Otherwise consult an approved
engineer
• Review the installation
• Clean the flaps
