Select the required type of measurement to be made from the signal
connected from the list (e.g. per transmitter). This is accepted as the channel
identifier. If the measurement type required cannot be found in the list then
Select measurement
select "FREE..." and then enter the correct channel identifier (10 characters)
type
manually. Hint: If you have selected one of the measurement types then a
listing of possible engineering units for this measurement type will be found in
"Select units".
Select the required units for the measurement to be made from the list. This
will be accepted as the entry for Engineering units. If the engineering units

required cannot be found in the list then select "FREE..." and then enter the
correct engineering units (6 characters) manually.
Decimal point
Number of decimal points in the 5 digit measured value display.
Transmitter transforms the physical measurement into a standard signal.
Range start
Example: 0-14 pH of a sensor is transformed into 4-20 mA. Enter the starting
point of the measurement range. A "0" for 0-14 pH.
Same as for "Range start". Enter the end value for the measurement range,
Range end
e.g. "14" on a 0-14 pH transmitter.

Individual parameters are grouped together in various chapters:
Basic settings
Common general parameters (date, time, release code ...)
All channel or measurement point relevant parameters for the analogue
Analogue inputs
channels (input signals, measurement point identifier, alarm set points, ...)
Digital inputs
All channel relevant parameters for the digital channels (function, identifier, ...)
Setting only necessary if the counters from integrated analogue channels are
Counter reset
to be reset to zero.
Miscellaneous
Interface parameters, memory availability display, simulation, ...
General service functions, relay operation mode - ONLY FOR SKILLED
Service
AUTHORISED SERVICE PERSONNEL !!
Settings that are generally valid for the unit, not channel relevant, e.g. date, time
etc.:
