"Always on": No switch off
"Switch off after x minutes": Switches display off x minutes after the last push
button has been operated.
"Switch daily": Times when the display rear illumination is switched off and on
Rear illumination
can be set.
Hint: All further functions are not effected (green LED is on when the unit is
operating normally and there is no alarm condition. If events have occurred or
alarm conditions active then the red LED flashes). Operation of any push button
activates the rear illumination again.
• Settings/alarm set points for the analogue measurement points
Can be individually selected per channel. See "Connections/terminal layout"
Signal
and "Technical data".
Identifier for the measurement point connected to this input channel. 10
Channel identifier
characters.
Additional information to the channel identifier (e.g. respective measurement
point number, tag identification system in power stations etc.). 13 characters.
Hints: Can only be set up if "With additional channel info" is selected up in
Additional information
"Basic settings - Channel identifier". If required the additional info can be
listed on screen together with the channel identifier in normal operation (select
the display mode using the ïð push buttons).
Input of the engineering (physical) unit for the measurement connected to this
Engineering units
input (e.g. bar, C, m3/h, ...). 5 character.
Decimal point
Number of decimal points for the 5 digit measured value display.
The unit measures the signal faster than the plot is updated. Select which type
of measured values are to be plotted.
"Instantaneous values": Stores the measurement at the input at the time of
memory update.
"Average values": Stores the calculated average value since last average
calculation at the time of memory update.
"Minimum values": Stores the lowest measured value since the last update at
the time of memory update. This storage mode should be selected for
Plot type
measurement points that must always lie above a specific low limit (e.g.
temperature measurement on sterilisation of foods).
"Maximum values": Stores the highest measured value since the last update
at the time of memory update. This storage mode should be selected for
measurement points that must always lie below a specific high limit (e.g.
maximum allowable pressure in pipelines).
"Envelope curve": Plots fast signal changes (same as a standard strip chart
recorder), however requires more memory space, because both the lowest
and highest measured values since the last memory update are stored.
Transmitters transform the physical measurements into a standard signal.
Range start
Example: 0-14 pH sensor signal is transformed to 4-20 mA. Enter the range
start, at 0-14 pH enter "0".
Range end
Same as range start. Enter the range end, e.g. "14" with a sensor for 0-14 pH.
