Operations to be carry out either on the right and on the left side
> Unfasten the screws and remove the side protection Part. 1 Fig. 17,
> Unfasten the screws on the gasket fixing plate Part. 3 Fig. 17
> Lower the gasket to a distance of 2 mm from the floor
> Fasten the screws on the fixing plate
> Reassemble and fix the side protection
REPLACEMENT OF THE CENTRAL BRUSH
Before replacing the central brush

turn the engine off

take a spanner of 10 – 13 mm

wear protection garments: gloves and mask
> Unfasten the screws and remove the left side protection Part. 1 Fig. 17,
> Unfasten the screw and remove the rocker arm Part. 4 Fig. 17,
> Unfasten the screws and remove the gasket fixing plate Part. 3 Fig. 17
> Unfasten the screws and disassemble the brush plate Part. 5 Fig. 17
> Take the central brush off Part. 6 Fig. 17
> Fit the new brush and repeat the operations to reassemble the parts,
> Adjust the position as explained in the paragraph "CENTRAL BRUSH ADJUSTMENT"
REPLACEMENT OF THE SIDE BRUSH
Before replacing the side brush

turn the engine off

take a spanner of 10 – 13 mm

wear protection garments: gloves and mask
> Lift the side brush pressing the pedal Part. 1 Fig. 17,
> Unfasten the locking ring Part. 1 Fig. 18 to pull the brush off from the flange Part. 2 Fig. 18,
> Fit the new side brush on the flange and fasten the block ring,
> Adjust the position as explained in the paragraph "SIDE BRUSH ADJUSTMENT".
REPLACEMET OF THE ANTI-DUST SIDE GASKETS
Before replacing the anti-dust gaskets:

turn the engine off

take a spanner of 10 – 13 mm

wear protection garments: gloves and mask
Operations to be carry out either on the right and on the left side
> Unfasten the screws and remove the side protection Part. 1 Fig. 17,
> Unfasten the screws on the gasket fixing plate Part. 3 Fig. 17
> Remove the worn out gasket and replace it with a new one
> Fasten the screws on the fixing plate Part. 3 Fig. 17
> Reassemble and fix the side protection Part. 1 Fig. 17
