CHAP. 17 – TROUBLESHOOTING
Evidence of faulty performance basically is of two types: spread of dust in the cleaning area or dirt traces left on the floor. Use the machine
properly and carry out the ordinary maintenance to prevent malfunction.
FAULT
THE MACHINE SPREADS DUST
THE MACHINE LEAVES TRACES OF DIRT
BEHIND
THE MACHINE DOES NOT START
CAUSE
Suction system is OFF
Filter obstructed
Filter damaged
Filter wrongly positioned
Side gaskets damaged
Continually use of the side brush
The central brush is badly set
The central brush is worn out
Side gaskets damaged
Dust container full up
The security microns under the cover-seat do
not work

REMEDY
Turn the suction switch Part. 3 Fig. 8 in
position ON
Use the shaker to clean the filter. When
necessary take it out for more
efficient cleaning
Replace the filter
Fit the filter properly with the proper gasket
and make sure it is firmly inserted and
tightened
Replace the gaskets
Only use the side brush to clean edges, curbs
and angles
Adjust the central brush
Replace the central brush
Replace the gaskets
Empty the dust container
Close the cover-seat to reset the contact. If
the problem persists replace the microns.
