Hold the bottle neck with one hand and

pull the Handle straight up with the other
to remove the Needle from the cork.
NOTE: A few drops of residual wine may
be seen on top of the cork. This is normal.
Open the Clamp by squeezing the Clamp

Handles and remove from the bottle.
Store the bottle on its side in

a temperature controlled area
suitable for wine.
NOTE: Natural cork will reseal by itself.
Cold or older corks may take a little
longer to reseal. If a cork continues to
drip after several minutes, the cork
may not be natural and will not reseal.
NOTE: Remove System from bottle
after pouring to prevent oxidation.

CLEANING AND CARING
FOR YOUR SYSTEM
Clean the Coravin System after each use.
Place the Spout under a steady stream of

warm CLEAN water for at least 5 seconds.
IMPORTANT: Never press the Trigger
while rinsing the Spout. This may
damage the System.
Remove from the water and quickly

PRESS AND RELEASE the Trigger
to release some gas, clearing any
excess water.
Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.

Do not submerge the System in water or any other liquids. It is not dishwasher safe.

Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that can scratch the exterior surface.
•
If after cleaning the System, it feels sticky or clogged, repeat the cleaning procedure
•
using a 50/50 mixture of water and white vinegar. This is especially helpful after
accessing dessert wines frequently.
Do not let wine dry on the System. Wipe immediately with a damp cloth.
