The ammeter enables to measure electric currents ranging from 0 to 450 Ampere.
6.1 -

Clip-on ammeter switching on

•
Press the ON/OFF switch (12) located on the can in order to power on the clip-on
ammeter.
The switching on of the Clip-on ammeter is indicated by the yellow LED (13).
•
Connect the clip-on ammeter to the negative cable of the battery.
•
Check the Clip-on ammeter switching on through the yellow led.
•
Carry out the zero set through the potentiometer (15).
•
Exert some pressure on the handgrip so as to open the clip-on ammeter and to clip
it to the conductor.
•
Make sure that the orientation mark (16) corresponds to the battery cable
direction.
•
Carry out the reading on the display of the Stargas.
•
Use the right and left cursor control keys to shift the cursor (s) along the
waveform of the tested signal.
The display stabilises and indicates instant by instant the current value connected with
the cursor position.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
•
Select AMMETER from the INSTRUMENT SELECTION page.
•
Select MULTIMETER from the INSTRUMENT SELECTION
page and then select AMMETER.

