Replacement of the Clip-on Ammeter internal battery

The instrument is fed by a single 1.5 Volt alkaline battery.
It is necessary to replace the battery when the flat battery indicator (14) is on
(red LED).
Comply with the following procedure:
•
Disconnect the Clip-on Ammeter from the conductor cable.
•
Switch off the ON/OFF switch.
•
Disconnect the Clip-on ammeter from the Stargas.
•
Loosen the screws (17) and open the can (18).
•
Replace the flat battery (19) and close the can again.
NOTA BENE:
It is advisable to switch off the clip-on ammeter through the ON/OFF switch (12),
located on the can, in case of a long stop. The battery has a 5 - 6-hour life.

OHMMETER (present only on SL31205/PLUS)

•
Select MULTIMETER from the INSTRUMENT SELECTION page and then select
OHMMETER.
The ohmmeter allows to measure resistances ranging between 0 and 9.99 MΩ.
•
Connect the cables supplied with the tool, (1) and (21), by means of the specific
accessories (3) and (22), to the points where the ohms value is to be checked.
•
Carry out the reading on the Stargas display.
•
Use the right and left cursor control keys to shift the cursor (t) along the waveform
of the tested signal.
The displays stabilizes and indicates instant by instant the ohms value corresponding to
the cursor position.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
