17. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
18. WARNING: This heater is not equipped with a device to
control the room temperature. Do not use this heater in small
rooms when they are occupied by persons not capable of
leaving the room on their own, unless constant supervision is
provided.
19. CAUTION: Some parts of this product can become very
hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given
where children and vulnerable people are present.
GENERAL PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
1. Remove all the packaging material and make sure that the appliance is in good condition. If you have any
doubt, do not use the appliance and contact our After-Sales Service. Keep the packaging material (staples,
nylon bags, etc.) out of the reach of children. Before turning the fan heater on, check that the voltage and
frequency of the power socket are compatible with those indicated in the product technical plate.
2. This appliance must be connected to an approved mains socket that complies with the safety regulations on
electrical systems for civil purposes. The electrical system must be specific for the appliance rated voltage
and must be equipped with an earth cable.
3. The appliance must be used only for its intended use, that is, as a heater for domestic heating. Any use other
than its intended purpose shall be deemed to be improper and hazardous This equipment should not be
operated without monitoring.
4. The manufacturer shall not be held responsible for damages derived from misuse of this appliance, do not
assuming any responsibility in case of incorrect use that will decline any warranty.
5. The appliance has dangerous components that must be kept out of the reach of children.
6. Never connect the power cord to extensions or triple plugs. Do not pull or damage the power cord.
7. Before any maintenance operations, disconnect the plug from the mains socket.
8. If the appliance does not work properly, immediately turn off the heater and disconnect it from the mains
socket. For repairs, contact a technical support center authorized by the manufacturer, and require that
original spare parts be used. Using parts that do not conform to the product may seriously compromise its
correct operation. The device must not be opened, processed or modified out by unqualified personnel.
9. The power cord must never be in contact with the hot surfaces of the heater.
10. Do not lay the power cord under a carpet. Do not cover the power cord with a cover or similar elements.
Pay attention not to place the power cable where it is likely to get into people's way.
11. In order to unplug the appliance, disconnect the plug from the power socket.
12. Do not move when connected to an electrical supply and always wait for the patio heater to cool down
before storing away.
13. Do not leave turned on and unattended especially when children and or animals are in the vicinity.
14. Do not touch the heater head when in use. The appliance is at high temperature during operation. It keeps
hot for a period after shut down.
15. Don't wrap the power supply cord on the unit.
16. The appliance must be handled with care, and avoid vibration or hitting.
17. Don't cover the unit with anything during operation or a short time after it's shut down.
18. The unit must be supervised by adults if it's used by a child.
19. Don't use this unit as a cloth drier or towel drier or as a sauna heater.
