The Safety Spring Vice is equipped with a safety shearing pin to protect the appliance against
overcharge. An overcharge of the spindle can therefore be avoided.
1. R emove the drive from the
spindle nut (with the aid of a
screw M 10 x 30). Debur the
shearing area if necessary.
2. and 3. R emove the O-ring and the
fragments of the shearing
pin.
4. Replace the drive as shown
in the illustration, insert a
new safety shearing pin and
put on the O-ring.
Note: Safe functioning can only be
assured upon usage of the
original HAZET replacement set
