Configure the sonde
Configure the sonde date, time and sounds. The date and time are saved with the measurement data
and the calibration history. The date and time are used to identify when sensor calibration or
maintenance is necessary. The sonde settings are saved on the sonde.
1. Push
until three or four dots show at the top of the screen.
2. Push the RIGHT arrow until "Sonde HL" shows at the top of the display.
3. Select Settings>Settings.
4. Select an option, then push OK.
Option
Description
Set Time
Sets the date and time. Sync with Surveyor—copy the date and time from the Surveyor HL.
Manual—enter the date and time.
Audio Enable Sets sounds to on or off. The sonde gives audible beeps to identify conditions (e.g., when the
sonde comes on).
Configure the sensors
1. Push

3. Select Sensors.
4. Select a sensor to configure.
The date of the last calibration, the calibration type, the calibration interval and the next
calibration date show.
