8. CALIBRATION

The calibration of each Biohit Proline XL has been factory checked and
certified at 22°C using distilled water according to DIN 12650-7.
Specifications of the XL are guaranteed only when it is used with genuine
Biohit Proline tips. Due to the varying nature of different manufacturer's
serological pipettes, no specifications for serological pipettes, others than
25 ml are given. The ranges of variation of serological pipettes are listed in
the Specifications section (12).
The Biohit Proline XL can be re-calibrated in P-mode on volume ranges
5, 10, and 25 ml. Re-calibration cannot be performed on volume ranges 1
and 2 ml. The re-calibration can be performed in one selected volume at
a time in 0.05 ml increments as follows.
