(As this procedure will empty the tip, it is recommended that you remove
the tip before resetting the XL.)
1. Clear the error message from the display by pressing
2. Place the XL in the charging base for 15 minutes.
3. Press START, which will return the piston to its home position.
Occasional "Er" situations can occur in the case that main outlets have
been switched off.They can also take place if the operating switch has
been in the OFF position during charging.
Repeated occurrence of the the "Er" message is caused by internal error,
which is due to a failure in the execution of the stroke path. In this case
the pipettor will need to be returned to the local Biohit distributor for
repair.
