2. Safety Instructions

Read and observe all of the instructions below. Failure to observe or in-
correct observance can lead to malfunctions and severe injury.
The particular national requirements for the air transport of lithium ion bat-
teries must be observed.
2.1. Requirements for personnel
This LED lamp is intended for use only by skilled personnel age 16 and
over with appropriate training who have read and understood these oper-
ating instructions completely. Work with the LED lamp by people whose
reactions are impaired as a result of dugs, alcohol, medications or for
other reasons is prohibited.
2.2. Personal Protection Equipment
Always wear personal protective equipment when using, cleaning and
maintaining the LED lamp.
2.3. Safety Instructions
General
■ Never point the LED lamp at the eyes of animals (including humans).
■ Comply with local regulations concerning safety, accident prevention,
occupational safety and environmental protection.
Installation site
■ Never set up or operate the LED lamp, battery or charger to potentially
explosive atmospheres.
■ Keep the LED lamp, battery and charger away from ignition sources
such as open flames, burning cigarettes or flying sparks.
■ Protect the LED lamp, battery and charger from rain and moisture.
■ Keep the LED lamp, battery and charger away from direct heat sources
and sunlight.
Technical condition
■ Never alter or make technical modifications to the LED lamp, battery or
charger.
■ Never operate the LED lamp, battery or charger if damaged or if parts
are missing.
■ Immediately discontinue using the LED lamp, battery or charger if dam-
aged.
■ Inspect the LED lamp, battery and charger for damage before each use
and repair if necessary.
■ Keep the charger vent openings free.
