8.3. Normal Operation
Switching the LED lamp on and off
Information!
The maximum amount of time the LED lamp will operate is approx. 60
– 70 minutes, depending on the ambient temperature. After that the bat-
tery will need to be recharged. It will take approx. 50 minutes to charge
a completely discharged battery.
■ Press button [1-4] and switch on LED lamp.
■ Set desired brightness using full range dimmer with level control [1-2].
■ Press button again when done using to switch off LED lamp.
Checking the battery charge status
■ Press Bat.Info [1-12] button on rear of battery. The number of LEDs that
light up indicate the current charge status of the battery.

9. Care and Storage

Careful handling and regular care of the product are required to guaran-
tee proper function of the LED lamp.

10. Maintenance and Repair

■ Store LED lamp, battery and charger in a dry location.
■ Check the LED for damage after each use and repair if necessary.
10.1. Replacing the protective plate with impact protector
■ Pull impact protector [2-1] forward from LED lamp [2-3] to remove.
■ Remove protective plate [2-2].
■ Insert new protective plate into impact protector.
■ Use light pressure to position impact protector with plate onto LED lamp
until impact protector locks into place.

11. Troubleshooting

If it is not possible to rectify a malfunction with the remedies described be-
low, send the LED lamp in to the SATA Service Department (see Chap. 15
for address).

Battery fully discharged. Charge battery.

Allow LED lamp to cool
