Uncontrolled movements of incorrectly connected
compressed air lines in the VS
Incorrectly assembled compressed air lines with plug
connections could come loose when pressure is appliedto the
VTS, resulting in injuries or damage to the device.

Always check that the plug connections are effective by
gently pulling on the inserted line.
6.1 Assembly
The valve system can be mounted in any desired orientation.
However, mounting the system with the connection side
upwards should be avoided if possible. Also, avoid mounting the
system with the pilot valves at the lower end.
The dimensions of the complete VS vary according to the
configuration. See Fig. 4; here 'M' (CL03) or 'N' (CL03-XL)
represents the number of subbases.
1. Mount the complete VS on a flat, firm surface using the
threaded mounting holes (1).
These holes are available in the connection piece and in the
end plate, as well as in all subbases with four ports or all
subbases with 5x G1/4 thread connections (i.e. subbases
with 3 and 5 or 1, 3, and 5, in addition to ports 2 and 4).
2. On the version with integrated bus module, connect the FE
connection (2) according to the instructions provided in the
manual for the respective bus module.
For optimal stability in a valve system with more than 10
subbases it is recommended to fit a subbase with subbase with
threaded mounting holes in the middle of the VS.
