PUMP MOUNTINg
Periodically check the screws securing the pump to the machine unit (especially if installed in the presence of machine
units with strong vibrations, e.g. tracked tractors, internal combustion engines, etc.).
The interventions shown below must be performed by a trained technician.
OIL chANgE
Replace the oil (SAE 20W/ 40) upon each replacement of the diaphragms.
Used oil should not be disposed of in the environment but must be taken to the appropriate collection
centres.
chEcKINg/REPLAcINg DIAPhRAgMS
The pumped liquid could damage the mechanical components if one or more of the diaphragas failed.
The diaphragm failure is denoted by:
• The whitish colour of the oil (water in the oil). Excessive oil consumption.
• Sudden disappearance of the oil from the filler, thus from inside the pump.
The diaphragm failure is frequently caused by:
• Throttling in the suction circuit.
• Use of extremely aggressive chemicals.
For the above mentioned cases, it is necessary to stop work and arrange for a trained technician to check the conditions
of the diaphragms, having them replaced if necessary.

SUcTION/DELIvERY vALvE
Periodically check the state of the suction/delivery valve. Increase the frequency of checking when using sandy water
or abrasive liquids or in any case when there are drops in pressure, erratic operation or abnormal noises.
TIghTENINg Of PUMP ScREWS/MAINTENANcE cONTROL UNIT
• At the end of the season check the tightness of all the screws of the pump.
• In the event of maintenance of the control unit, ensure that the pipes connecting to the tank are reassembled in the
correct position and are not blocked by foreign bodies (risk of failure of the pump due to overpressure).
Whereas the majority of operational faults occur due to incorrect use of the pump, the following table gives several
possible faults that can occur and the measures to be taken to prevent them.
