CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PRODUCT
FRONT DIAGRAM
OF THE SAFE:
1. OPENING FOR THE FIRST TIME:
When opening the safe for the first time, proceed in the following manner:
• Put the emergency key, which is in the envelope, into the lock.
• Turn it half a turn to the right (clockwise).
• Then turn it a half turn to the left (original position) and remove the key.
• Open the safe with the usual key (2 half turns to the right).
In order to function, the safe needs 4 x 1.5 V alkaline batteries that are
placed in the battery holder located at the back of the door. In order to
insert them, open the cover of the battery holder and place the batteries
according to the diagram that is found on the inside. On completion of this
process the electronic system will be activated.
To close the safe, simply turn the key 2 half turns to the left (anti-
clockwise).
2. OPENING AND CLOSING THE SAFE:
• Press the key. A green light will begin to flash (if it is red, see point:
6. "Condition of the battery indicator").
• Enter your personal opening code. The light will continue to flash.
• Press the key and turn the key two half turns in the lock to the right
(clockwise). If the entered code is correct, the light will be illumi-
nated continuously for 3 seconds and a long beep for acceptance will
sound; you have this time to turn the key and open the safe. If the
entered code is incorrect, 4 short deep sounding beeps will sound
and the light will go out. In this event, repeat the process. The safe will
allow up to 5 incorrect code entries before becoming blocked for 15
minutes as a security measure, during which it will emit a beep every 5
seconds. During this time it is not possible to use the keypad.
To close the safe, simply turn the key 2 half turns to the left (anti-
clockwise).
WARNING:
Each time a key is pressed, the safe emits a short beep, which
means that it was pressed correctly. If more than 15 seconds
pass between pressing two keys, the safe will close.
In this event, repeat the process.
