Intended Purpose
The medi CTS is a wrist support. The
product is exclusively to be used for the
orthotic fitting of the wrist and only on
intact skin.
Indications
• Conservative therapy and post-
operative aftercare of the carpal
tunnel
• Support of the finger and the wrist
after injuries
• Post-operative aftercare
• Tendovaginitis
• Arthrosis of the wrist
• Post-traumatic aftercare of distortions
of the wrist, the metacarpus and finger
Contraindications
Unstable fractures in the area of the
hand.
Applying the support
• The volar splint is supplied
anatomically preformed. If necessary,
you can adapt the support to the shape
of the patient's hand. If possible, make
sure that there are no gaps between
the support and the arm or hand.
The fingers should be supported in a
relaxed neutral position (fig. 1)
• Now bend up the side flaps along the
forearm, the wrist and the fingertips.
(fig. 2)
• Finally fasten the four straps (fig. 3)
Wearing directions
Wearing the medi CTS consistently will
support the therapy.
Care instructions
Velcro fasteners should be closed for
washing. Soap residues, lotions and
ointments can cause skin irritation and
material wear.
• Wash the product by hand, preferably
using medi clean washing agent.
• Do not bleach.
• Leave to dry naturally.
• Do not iron.
• Do not dry clean.
    
Storage instructions
Keep the product in a cool, dry place and
do not expose to direct sunlight.

Aluminum, polyamide.

Disposal
The product can be disposed of in the
domestic waste.
