The following settings have to be made:

All of these settings are made with the switches beneath the cover of the
bus coupler. See Fig. 4 below for position of switches.
Proceed as follows to make the settings:
1. Remove the cover of the bus coupler by undoing the four screws (1).
2. Make the settings with the switches as described below.
3. Refit the cover carefully according to Fig. 4 below. Ensure that the

FE connection

To discharge EMC interferences, connect the FE connection (4) on
the bus coupler via a low-impedance line to functional earth.
Recommended cable cross-section: 10 mm
