Disconnect the power supply before carrying out any installation or maintenance work on the pool top
equipment.
Make sure that the power-supply voltage matches the indications provided on the label on the PC2000
instrument.
Failure to comply with any of the requirements set forth below could cause personal injury or damage to
property or lead to incorrect operation of and/or damage to the components.
To install the equipment, proceed as follows:
1)
Position the panel on a wall at a height from the ground enabling easy access both to the top part and
to the bottom part of the panel.
N.B. The panel must be positioned on a level and possibly perfectly perpendicular. Leave the floor
space uncluttered so as to allow free access to the panel.
2)
Connect the water input to an outlet ensuring an uninterrupted flow of water at a rate comprised
between 40 and 60 litres an hour at a pressure equal to the output counter-pressure + 0.5 bars. It is
advisable that the pressure should not exceed 3 bars.
The flow rate must remain steady. Any variations will cause an error equal to 1.5%/∆ l/hr in the
measurements.
3)
If it is possible for the delivery pipe to empty in the event of a power cut, it will be advisable to install
a check valve on the input. This will prevent the tank containing the electrodes from emptying due to
a siphon effect, since such a situation would damage the electrode for measuring the pH.
4)
Connect the output to a facility for recovering the water having a maximum counter-pressure of 2
bars.
5)
Mount the pH electrode in the tank provided for it and open the input valve to the panel. Set the valve
so as to obtain a flow rate of ≅ 40 l/hr.
