port the audiometer), care must be taken not to catch your fingers when
operating the shelf.

1.5. DISPOSAL OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC DEVICES BY
DOMESTIC USERS IN THE EUROPEAN UNION
Do not dispose of the electrical part of this product together with
household waste.
Conversely, if you must dispose of this type of waste, it is the user's responsibility
to disassemble the panel and the electrical part of the cabin and deliver it to
a designated collection point for recycling electronic and electrical equipment.
Recycling and separate collection of these wastes at the time of disposal will
help preserve natural resources and ensure that recycling protects health and
the environment.

2. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND INSTALLATION

2.1 PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION

According to the audiometric standards ISO 8253-1 and ANSI S3.1, audio-
metric tests must be performed under conditions that ambient noise does
not mask the results of these tests.
For this, the cabin is an acoustically attenuated enclosure in which the bac-
kground noise is much lower than the noise from the outside, allowing the
audiometric tests to be carried out correctly.
