Main features

• Sequential, distal-proximal and intermittent programs that favour the peristaltic transport
of fluids;
• 2 sequences;
• applicators: arm cuff and leg cuffs with partially overlapping chambers (CPS MESIS) and
standard abdominal/buttocks belt;

Terminology
• Program - (sequence): method of inflating the chambers;
• Cycle: 1 cycle is equivalent to the inflation of all the chambers, from the first to the last
regardless of the program used. After the last chamber has inflated, there is a pause and
then a new cycle starts;
• Speed cycles: is the time it takes for the unit to complete one cycle;
• Standard applicators: pneumo-soothing element (abdominal/buttocks belt) composed
of several chambers that sequentially inflate, regulated by the chosen program;
• CPS Mesis applicators: pneumo-soothing element (only foot/leg sleeves and arm cuff)
composed of several chambers that sequentially inflate, regulated by the chosen pro-
gram; they differ from the standard applicators because they are characterised by parti-
ally superimposed chambers that are inside the arm cuff and the legs cuff;
• Time: duration of the session;
• Pressure: quantity of air blown in the chamber;
• Connector: connecting air hoses between the unit and the applicators;
• Nozzle: end part (air outlet) of each connector's hose that must be inserted into the
seats located on the applicators;
• Seat: located on the applicator. This is where the connector's nozzles must be inserted;
• Chambers or segments: elements that the applicator is made up of;
• Acupressure soles: special anatomic soles that can be inserted into the leg cuffs where
the foot is.
