Cut the food into pieces or slice thinly.
The length of time and temperature required for cooking depend on taste and on the food used.
As vegetables take longer to cook, we recommend that you allow them to cook for a while before
adding other food, and then place them to one side of the stone.
Allow your food to cook on the stone for approximately 30 to 60 seconds (or longer, depending on
thickness of slices and the recipe used). Turn the food over regularly to ensure uniform cooking.
During the meal, you can scrape the stone with the scraper included in order to remove any residual
food. You should then wipe over the stone.
For better tasting meat, and to prevent drying out during cooking, you can marinate for several hours
prior to cooking or sprinkle with a little lemon juice or olive oil.
ACCOMPANIMENTS:
Prepared salads and sauces such as tomato ketchup, mayonnaise, béarnaise, bourguignon, tartare,
pepper, onion, etc can be used to accompany your food. Sauces such as chocolate, crème
anglaise, fruit coulis etc can be used to accompany fruit.
Tips:
Caution: do not place aluminium foil or any other material or object between the heating element
and the stone.
Never plunge or soak the stone into water.
An immersed stone absorbs water and may crack or break at next use.
Do not clean the stone with water while it is very hot, as it may break.
Do not wash the stone in the dishwasher.
Do not place heat sensitive items on the stone.
The cooking stone is a natural porous stone, dark areas will appear when using.
We advise you to store the appliance and accessories in the original packaging.
