■ Turn safety valve counter-clockwise and check. Air must audibly escape
from valve.
■ Close safety valve again after inspection.
11.2. Checking the tank lid seal
■ Open paint pressure tank (see Chap. 10.4).
■ Check seal between tank lid [1-7] / [2-8] and tank [1-10] / [2-10] for
damage.
■ Close paint pressure tank (see Chap. 10.4).
11.3. Checking paint material and air connections
■ Check the air and material connections for leaks and secure attachment
after every use.
11.4. Flushing the pneumatic motor
The pneumatic motor is virtually maintenance-free. However, should a
drop in performance occur, the motor can be flushed clean.
■ Disconnect agitator from compressed air circuit.
■ Unscrew compressed air supply from pneumatic motor air supply
[11-3] / [12-3] / [15-4] / [16-4].
■ Add a few drops of petroleum to the pneumatic motor air supply.
■ Turn pneumatic motor agitating vane back and forth by hand.
■ Screw compressed air supply back onto pneumatic motor air supply
[11-3] / [12-3] / [15-4] / [16-4].
■ Pressurize the pneumatic motor at approx. 0.5 bar and let it run clean
until the motor power has been fully restored.
■ Unscrew compressed air supply from pneumatic motor air supply and
add a few drops of acid-free oil.
■ Screw compressed air supply back onto pneumatic motor air supply.
12. Care and Storage
Careful handling and regular care of the product are required to guaran-
tee the proper function of the paint pressure tank.
Store the paint pressure tank in a dry location.
