Important safety information
▪ Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
▪ This appliance must not be used by children. The appliance and its
connecting cable must be kept out of the reach of children.
▪ Children must not play with the appliance.
▪ Always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply if it is left
unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
▪ If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufac-
turer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid
hazards.
▪ This appliance is designed for use in households and similar environ-
ments such as:
⋅ in kitchens for employees in shops, offices and other commercial
areas;
⋅ on agricultural property;
⋅ by customers in hotels, motels and other residential facilities;
⋅ in bed-and-breakfast establishments.
The appliance is not intended for purely commercial use.
▪ After using the appliance and accessories, clean all surfaces/parts
that have come into contact with food. Follow the instructions in the
"Cleaning and care" section.
▪ Switch off the appliance and disconnect from the mains supply before
changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
▪ Always use the appliance in accordance with these instructions.
Improper use can result in electric shocks and other hazards.

Before use
Read the instructions for use carefully. They contain important information about
the use, safety and care of the appliance.
They should be kept in a safe place and passed on to subsequent users if neces-
sary.
The appliance may only be used for the intended purpose according to these
instructions for use.
The appliance is not intended for purely commercial use.

Additional safety instructions
▪ The appliance is designed for short-time operation. Pause after 10 minutes use
to allow the appliance to cool down.
▪ Connect the appliance to an alternating current only, with voltage in accord-
ance with that shown on the appliance's type label. The cable and plug must
be dry.
▪ Never pull the mains plug out of the socket by the cable or with wet hands.
▪ The appliance and the connection cable must be protected from the effects of
heat.
▪ Do not pull or clamp the connecting cable over sharp edges. Do not leave it
dangling and protect it from heat and oil.
▪ Do not place the appliance on hot surfaces, such as on hotplates or similar
areas, and do not operate near naked flames.
▪ CAUTION: Always unplug from the mains supply before you remove or insert
the mixer accessories. You must always use mixer accessories in matching
pairs. Never combine different mixer accessories together.
▪ CAUTION: Never lift, move or carry the appliance by the kneading hook,
whisk or mains cable. Always hold the appliance by the handle when you wish
to move it or use it.
▪ You must only use the appliance for the preparation of food. Never use the
appliance with fluids containing solvents (such as varnish and paint)! The
vapours from the solvents could set the appliance's motor on fire and cause it
to explode!
▪ Stop using the appliance and/or pull out the mains plug immediately if:
⋅
the appliance or mains cable is damaged.
⋅
you suspect that there is a defect after the appliance
has fallen or suffered a similar incident.
In such cases, arrange for the appliance to be repaired.
▪ Do not immerse the appliance in water.
▪ Do not use the appliance outdoors.
▪ No liability is accepted for damages resulting from misuse, incorrect opera-
tion, improper repairs or the use of accessories that are not designed for this
appliance. Claims under warranty are likewise excluded in such cases.
▪ The appliance is not intended for commercial use.
