Use only original attachments which offer optimum character-
istics of quality and safety. Failure to use original attachments
absolves the manufacturer from all liability.

PREFILTERS - DI RESIN CARTRIDGE
Every 5000 gallons (19.000 litres) Equipment without Pump
Unit;
Every 6000 gallons (22.800 litres) Equipment with Pump Unit
of feed water run through the machine as indicated by the
totallizing flow meter;
English
For both versions: When the TDS content of the pure water
produced exceeds 1-2% of the water supply TDS content,
measured using the TDS meter supplied
- Replace the 5 micron sediment filter.
- Replace the carbon block filter.
- Replace the DI resin cartridge.
The following proceedures should be followed to protect
the unit from bacteria fouling and damage from freezing.
See "preliminary operations" in this manual for prefilters and
membrane removal and reinstallation instructions.
Short term storage: 2-4 weeks of non use.
1. Remove both prefilter housings and dump out the water.
2. Remove the DI resin cartridge housing and dump out the
water.
3. Remove top cap from RO membrane pressure vessel.
4. Open flush valve.
5. Lay unit down and allow all water to drain out for several
minutes.
6. Reinstall top cap on pressure vessel. Do not allow membrane
to dry out.
7. Reinstall prefilters and DI resin cartridge. Do not allow DI
resin cartridge to dry out.
Long term storage (winter storage): More than 4 weeks of
non use.
1. Remove both prefilter housings and dump out the water.
Reinstall with filters.
2. Remove the DI resin cartridge housing and dump out the
water. Reinstall housing without DI cartridge.
3. Wrap cartridge in plastic wrap and double seal it in a plastic
bags.
4. Remove top cap from RO membrane pressure vessel.
5. Remove RO membrane. Use a pliars and grip one of the
black spokes on the top of the membrane and lift. Do not grab
the small white tube.
6. Wrap membrane in plastic wrap and double seal it in a
plastic bag.
7. Reinstall cap on pressure vessel.
8. IMPORTANT NOTE: Protect from freezing. Store indoors
during winter season or whenever freezing temperatures
are possible.
9. Do not allow RO membrane of DI resin cartridge to dry out
or freeze. Damage will occur.
SYSTEM PERFORMANCE EVALUATION
In order to properly evaluate and troubleshoot the system, you
will need to perform a complete set of tests on the unit. These
tests will help identify the cause of the problem. To run these
tests, you will need the following items:
- Watch or clock with a sweep second hand.
- 3 gallon (12l) bucket.
- Volume measurement system. This could be volume gradua-
tion marks inside the bucket or a measuring cup/container.
Flow testing procedure:
- With water running from hose being tested, direct flow into
bucket for exactly 1 minute while timing with watch.
- Measure volume of water and record the gallons per minute
