SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance.

mental capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use
of the appliance in a safe way by a person responsible for their
safety, and understand the hazards involved. The cleaning and
maintenance of the appliance should not be carried out by
children under 8 without supervision.
Any intervention, other than normal cleaning and maintenance,
must be performed by the official Technical Support Service of
Cecotec.
Do not twist, bend, strain, or damage the power cord in any
way. Protect it from sharp edges and heat sources. Do not let
it touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of
the working surface or countertop.
Clean the device with a soft cloth after using it. Cleaning
regularly is necessary to avoid malfunctions. Do not wash the
device under running water.
Do not operate the product on an unstable surface.
Make sure your hands are dry when touching the appliance, the
power cord or the plug.
Do not use the device outdoors or nearby water.
Please store the device in a cool and dry place and keep it away
from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Unplug the device from the outlet when it is not in use, being
cleaned or defective.
If the cord or the device is damaged, it must be replaced by the
official Technical Support Service of Cecotec, in order to avoid
any type of danger.
Do not cover the device while it is operating.
Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquid.
Do not touch the device if it is hot. Use gloves.
Do not place the device on or near a hot gas, electric
oven or in a heated oven.
Do not open the device cover while it is operating.
Make sure the cover is placed correctly while it is operating.
This product is only authorized for domestic use and not for
commercial or industrial purposes.
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk
resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer
cord.
Longer extension cords are available and may be used in case
it is needed.
Always place the device away from the edge of the countertop.
Make sure the vacuum sealer is placed on a firm, flat surface.
Do not place the device on any metal surface when operating.
Do not move the vacuum sealer while it is switched on.
Allow the device to cool down before assembling or
disassembling any part of the device and before cleaning.
Do not use the device for any use other than its intended
purpose.
