6.1.5. ALERTS
The E-Indicator will display and sound Alerts for inventory management purposes, when the
estimated amount of gas remaining in the cylinder, based on the current flow rate, is less than
certain thresholds:
20 MINUTES
15 MINUTES
EN
10 MINUTES
5 MINUTES
0 MINUTES
When 0 Minutes is indicated the cylinder is considered empty, but there may still be some
residual gas in the cylinder and therefore still some gas flow.
6.2. BLUETOOTH WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY
The E-Indicator contains Bluetooth wireless technology which may be used to communicate
and transfer information, operating in the unlicensed industrial, scientific and medical band
at 2.4 to 2.485 GHz. This is currently reserved for use by the manufacturer during service
operations.

7. USE OF PRODUCT
7.1. OPERATIONS PERFORMED BY THE PROVIDER, DISTRIBUTOR -
FILLING STATION
7.1.1. GUARD
The guard is an integral part of the E-Ministar. An integral part of the E-Ministar is also E-Indicator
Display, which is located in one half of the guard. Connection of the E-Indicator Display to
combination valve including guard final assembly is described in App Nr 4.
The guard must allow an easy access to all controlling elements of the combination valve, must
not inhibit connection of medical devices and other accessories to the combination valve outlet
(ex. filling adaptor), must not influence any functions of combination valve (ex. pressure relieve
valve) and inhibit legibility of labels and marking.
It is prohibited to use the combination valve without the guard and attached E-Indicator Dis-
play.
